Warranty Overview

Every new Point One Fan purchased directly from Point One Technology or any of our Authorised Retailers is entitled to a limited warranty specific to the fan purchased. 

Please note that any purchase from and/or installation by any other sources, resellers, retailers, dealers, agents, or contractors who are not authorised retailers/contractors can and will result in your product warranty being voided. If unsure, seek further clarification from our Point One Customer Service Team. 

Point One Technology will not be liable for any claims resulting from the purchases and/or installations mentioned above. 

Warranty Claims Process

Follow the steps below to initiate your warranty claim with us.

  2. Include a photo of your warranty card
  3. Include a photo of your original receipt/invoice
  4. Detail the servicing required or issue faced (include a photo or video if necessary)

Warranty Terms & Conditions

IMPORTANT
WARRANTY WILL BE VOIDED IF INSTALLED BY UNAUTHORIZED SALES, DEALERS, AGENTS OR CONTRACTORS.
STEEL REINFORCEMENT IS COMPULSORY FOR FALSE CEILING INSTALLATION

 

  1. The product is not exchangeable or refundable once it has been installed.
  2. This warranty is valid for domestic use in Singapore for the durations stipulated above.
  3. This warranty only applies to the original purchase and is not transferable, negotiable or assignable to third parties.
  4. This warranty card and proof of purchase must be presented to our technician when requesting warranty service.
  5. The warranty shall become null and voided under the following circumstances:
    1. Installed on a false ceiling by unauthorized personnel.
    2. Evidence of alteration, modification, tampering, unauthorized installation and/or repair, misuse or negligence.
    3. Evidence of any tampering or alteration (E.g. Cutting of cable provided for extension, etc.) done by a 3rd party installer
    4. Damage to any parts of the fan caused by third-party installation (E.g., Dropping the motor during installation).
    5. Should the product be connected to the current alternator (dimming switch being used to control the fan)
    6. Damage caused by fluctuation or interruption from an electrical power supply, defective or incorrect wiring, or operating on incorrect voltage.
    7. Defects from using an inappropriate electrical supply, voltage & frequency.
    8. Contact with any chemicals/vapours, directly or indirectly, resulting in discolouration and/or corrosion.
  6. This warranty does not cover External connections or parts and defects caused by expected wear and tear.
  7. Batteries for remote control are provided for the sole purpose of testing the ceiling fan(s), and must be replaced within 7 days from the installation date. This warranty does not cover batteries.
  8. A service charge will be applicable for service appointments if the issue is found to be unrelated to the product.
  9. Additional servicing fees apply to ceiling fans mounted on ceilings of more than 10 feet in height. The customer is to agree to this additional cost for this warranty to be valid
  10. To ensure proper maintenance, it is highly recommended to conduct regular examinations of the fan suspension system at least once every two years.
